HIV PrEP Stigma and Barriers
Latesha Elopre, MD, MSPH first provides context about current disparities, how disparities are impacting HIV infection rates, and what populations and regions are currently most impacted by these inequities. She then discusses how stigma impacts people with intersectional disparities and their access to HIV PrEP and retention services. She reviews what healthcare professionals and programs can do to help abate the impact of stigma and discrimination.
