About this assessment

  • All National HIV PrEP Curriculum learners who successfully complete all lessons, quizzes, and feedback surveys in the HIV PrEP Fundamentals are eligible to take the optional 20-question (multiple choice) HIV PrEP Fundamentals Knowledge Assessment Test. This assessment is “open book” and learners can use any resources, including any content on the National HIV PrEP Curriculum. After starting the test, learners will have 24 hours to finish all questions.
  • Although this test is considered optional for learners who want to claim CE or document their work with a Certificate of Completion, passing this test is a necessary requirement to obtain the HIV PrEP Training Certificate.
  • A passing score for this test is 80% or higher. After passing the test, learners can click on the certificate button and print out their HIV PrEP Training Certificate. Learners who do not pass the test are eligible to retake the test after 48 hours.
